40 weeks and still pregnant

As much as we had hoped that this would be the week we'd meet our little one, it seems as though we may have to wait a bit longer. Today was the projected due date, but at the OB appointment today we found out that there hasn't been much progress. Everything still seems fine, just not moving along.

So, unless Lorrie goes into labor before then, we are scheduled to be induced next Wednesday.  The general plan is to check into the hospital at 4:15 next Tuesday afternoon (Lorrie's birthday :-( ) to have the cervidil placed.  We'd have to stay overnight and then they will start the pitocin early the next morning, break Lorrie's water a few hours later and hopefully by evening they baby will be born. One big bummer is that Lorrie can't eat anything once admitted on Tuesday.

We'll definitely keep everyone posted if anything happens before Wed. In the meantime, we thought we'd post a few more photos of our nursery and some baby gear.
